The police also need to start trying to understand the laws they are upholding with their physical violence. They don't have a clue about 90% of the language that they repeat parrot fashion to the public. They are creating contractual arrangements with people every time they open their mouths in public. They are as much a victim of the system as the public because most of them truly believe what they are doing is right.

Take the police to court and defend yourself every-time you get stopped. The more you allow the system to creep in these laws via change blindness the worse they will get, they will only stop via opposing pressure.
